Thierry Burger-Helmchen, is the current Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management at the University of Strasbourg, and a Full Professor in Management Science. He is researcher at BETA-UMR 7522 CNRS (A+AERES).
Thierry Burger-Helmchen is the author of more than 20 articles published in peer reviewed journals (referenced by AERES, CNRS, FNEGE), and of several textbooks and research books on economics and management. He was the invited editor of several special issues in economics of innovation and in economics of strategy (Journal of Innovation Economics, Journal of Strategy and Management, International Management).
Thierry Burger-Helmchen lately directed three books on entrepreneurship and on the economics of creativity. He managed and/or contributed to several research projects (financed by UniSTRA, ANR, Région Alsace, the EU and private companies).
Thierry Burger-Helmchen recently obtained the Syntec price for the best academic article in strategy with significant practical reach.

Agusti Canals is currently Professor at the Univ. Oberta de Catalunya in Barcelona, where he coordinates the KIMO research group and is the Director of the MSc Program in Strategic Management of Information and Knowledge in Organizations. He is also an external faculty member of the Strategy and General Management Department at ESADE, and a Visiting Fellow at the Sol C. Snider Entrepreneurial Research Center at Wharton Business School. He has also held visiting research positions at the Warwick Business School (University of Warwick), at the Sol C. Snider Entrepreneurial Research Center (Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania) and at the Saïd Business School (University of Oxford).

B.Sc and M.Sc. in Physics (Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona). MBA and PhD in management science (ESADE, Univ. Ramon Llull).
He has followed graduate studies at Penn State Univ. and Syracuse Univ. and in the USA.

Patrick COHENDET

Patrick Cohendet is emeritus Professor of Economics at the University of Strasbourg, France. He is currently Professeurr Titulaire at HEC Montréal in Canada, affiliated with the International Business Department which is in charge of all the campuses abroad of HEC Montréal. He was director of the International Business Department in the years 2007 and 2008.

Patrick Cohendet is the author or co-author of 15 books and 50+ articles in refereed journals. He has conducted a series of economic studies on innovation (measurement of spin-offs, evaluation of the economic benefits of R&D projects, evaluation of technology transfer etc.). These studies were carried out at the research laboratory BETA (University of Strasbourg) for different European and North American organisations such as the European Commission, the EU, OECD, Council of Europe, or the Canadian Space Agency.

Nicolai FOSS

A Danish citizen with former residence in Denmark and Norway, now in Italy, Nicolai J(uul) Foss (b. 1964; PhD 1993) was a Professor of Strategy and Organization at the Copenhagen Business School, a part-time Professor of Knowledge-based Value Creation at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration, and the Head of Department of the Department of Strategic Management and Globalization at CBS. Nicolai has now his position at Bocconi University in Milan (Italy). He has held visiting positions at a number of European universities. Foss is a panel member of the European Research Council and a member of the Academia Europaea.

Encompassing 159 journal articles, 98 book chapters and 22 books (edited as well as monographs), his work has been published in the Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, Strategic Organization, Industrial and Corporate Change, Organization Studies and several other leading journals, as well as published by leading publishers, such as Cambridge University Press and Oxford University Press. About a dozen of his papers have been reprinted in research handbooks, His google scholar cites are above 14,000 (Scopus/ISI > 2,000). His work has been cited by eminent economists and management scholars, such as Oliver Williamson, Paul Milgrom, C.K. Prahalad.

Foss was one of the founders of the Danish Research Unit for Industrial Dynamics and a co-founder of the industry-funded Center for Policy Studies, the most influential privately-funded think tank in DK. He serves as a member of the management group of the Norwegian Center for Service Innovation at the Norwegian School of Economics, which is supported by a 20 million Euros grant (over 8 years). Since 2000, Foss has raised approximately 2 million Euros in external funding as research leader, and has participated in several other research projects.
