Innovation platforms in Asia

Innovation intermediaries in the healthcare sector

Micro-foundations of Dynamic Capabilities

The newPIC chair develops the series of research project commissioned by Bpifrance Le Lab and Innovation Factory. The projects on innovation platforms executed in 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 respectively focused in innovation platforms located in Paris and in continental France. We develop the current projects with a comparison between our previous cases and the dynamics emerged in Asia over the recent years. Different countries are present in the analysis.

Description of the project here »

The newPIC chair investigates the role of innovation intermediaries in open innovation strategies in a project commissioned by Bpifrance and Genopole (Evry) . We use our previous research results to develop a comparison between Genopole and series of cases in continental France and Quebec (Montréal), and apply to the specificities of the healthcare sector. We analyze in particular the different rationales for "white" and "hard" biotechs, medtechs and other activities.

Description of the project here »

The newPIC chair and UOC KIMO research group have hosted together a thematic workshop of the French AIMS in March 2016, dedicated to the "Microfoundatrions of Dynamic capabilities". A selection of papers is currently passing through the review process for publication in a special issue of the Canadian journal Management International (*** in CNRS rankings). Guest editors for the special issue are Valerie Merindol, David W. Versailles, Nicolai J. Foss, and Agusti Canals.
